Walmart Will Be Closing 6 Stores Starting Next Week
One of the world's most lucrative enterprises, Walmart has over 10,500 locations in 24 countries. Despite its retail dominance, not all locations match the retailer's goals.

Wal-Mart will close its Lincolnwood, Illinois, pickup-only site on Feb. 17, saying CBS 2 that the "decision was not made lightly and was reached only after a thorough review process."
"As this is a pickup and delivery only location, we have taken what we learned from this location and made it part of how we operate Pick-up and Delivery from our surrounding stores,"
The firm added. Walmart will close two additional Chicago stores—Homewood and Plainfield—after Lincolnwood.
The retailer said the locations will close by March 10 due to financial issues. "There is no single cause for why a store closes and our decision is based on several factors."
