This Airline Is Launching New Flights to Mexico From the U.S. 

US visitors to Monterrey, Mexico will soon have more airline alternatives. 

Monterrey, Mexico-based Viva Aerobus will add flights to Austin, Denver, Miami, New York, San Francisco,

and Orlando. Due to ‘growing demand’, the airline will add 13 million seats to Monterrey in 2024, a 23% increase. 

Two-weekly service from Denver to Monterrey begins January 25, 2024. Four weekly flights from Austin to Monterrey starting March 22, 2024. 

Three weekly flights from Orlando to Monterrey starting May 9, 2024. From July 1, 2024, Oakland Airport to Monterrey will have two weekly flights. 

Three weekly flights from Miami to Monterrey starting July 1, 2024. The expanded New York-Monterrey route was not immediately available. 

New route one-way airfare starts at $65. Viva will shortly commence domestic operations to Durango, Tapachula, and La Paz from Monterrey. 

The local government is building infrastructure, including a new route to the airport, to prepare for the new flights in 2024.
