Surprise Apology Made in Bud Light Scandal

Mulvaney formerly sponsored Bud Light. She sported Nike sports bras and Ulta Beauty cosmetics on social media.

Both efforts drew abuse and transphobic comments, but nothing like when she uploaded the basic Bud Light statement.

The Rock video and boycotts followed, and the beer brand lost 30% of sales. Mulvaney told The Cut he regrets the agreement.

I believe this has touched more than just my life. I constantly try to offer value to my partnerships, she remarked.

Mulvaney stated that the problem exploded before Pride Month, reducing brand expenditure on LBGTQ+ partnerships.

However, she is angry that her actions cost others their jobs, including the Anheuser-Busch employees laid off when Bud Light's sales decreased.

Mulvaney was not hired by Anheuser-Busch. Influencer marketing agency negotiated the beer promotion arrangement.

Before and after the issue, no one from the firm contacted her, and The Cut reported that Anheuser-Busch would not answer on inquiries using her name.

"For a company to hire a trans person and then not publicly stand by them is worse, in my opinion, than not hiring them," she said.

Unlike Kid Rock, who drank Bud Light during a performance, Mulvaney won't drink Anheuser-Busch beer.
