Southwest Airlines to cut flights on 92 routes

As a means of coping with the drop in passenger volume, Southwest Airlines has decided to

temporarily suspend service on three of its routes beginning in the beginning of the next year.

Southwest Airlines, based in Dallas, is likewise looking to adjust its timetable to better accommodate seasonal demand.

The new flight schedule for the airline, which was released today, includes service from the 9th of January to the 12th of March.

Southwest will reduce service by one flight per day on 92 different routes,

while increasing service on 42 different routes, typically by one trip more per day.

Additionally, Southwest will stop service between Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Portland, Oregon, as well as between Manchester,

New Hampshire, and Phoenix. Flights will resume between these two cities in February.

The Kansas City to Seattle flight schedule will be adjusted beginning in May after being suspended in January.
