Heinz says the new ketchup will taste like the original but have more pickle-like tang. This product, which will hit
stores in early 2024, was intended to satisfy customers' "hunger for unique, elevated, and nuanced flavor experiences."
Pickles are popular, and stores are selling pickle-flavored potato chips, mustard, seasoning blends, and even canned cocktails. Heinz
emphasized a "obsession with pickles," noting a Dataessential research indicating 73% of Americans "enjoy the taste of pickles."
