Arby's Is Being Sued Over The Quality Of Its Meat

When you visit Arby's, you probably expect a roast beef sandwich. That sandwich may not be as stunning as you expected. One customer is suing the fast-food business for not providing a tasty meal.

Joseph Alongis requested Double Beef 'N Cheddar and Smokehouse Brisket sandwiches after viewing a menu board graphic.

Alongis got half the flesh he anticipated based on the portrayal. He filed a class action complaint in New York federal court over Arby's "deceptive" ads. Hospital, Suit Claims

The lawsuit claims that Arby's ads are "violations of the New York Deceptive Acts and Practices Act, breach of contract, and unjust enrichment" because

the brand apparently places meat in the sandwich in a certain way and uses props to make it appear that customers will receive more.

The complaint also targets Arby's sandwich meat quality. Although commercials promise rare roast meat, Alongis says clients don't get it.

If this makes you question your local Arby's, you may be interested to know that other fast-food chains have been sued for deceptive advertising.

Burger King and Taco Bell have been sued by consumers who say they misrepresent their goods in marketing.

Twitter users replied to the Arby's complaint with, "It's about time, they have been doing this for years." Someone another said, "Wendy's should sue. Where's the meat ."
