Your Favorite Waffles Brand Is Launching a Boozy Drink

American refrigerators have held Eggo® Waffles for decades as a quick and easy breakfast alternative to ease busy mornings. Despite not

being the healthiest morning snack, Kellogg's own brand is loved for its catchy advertisements and vivid packaging. (Several of Eggo's favorite

waffle flavors were the poorest on our list due to their excessive sugar and low protein content.)

This holiday season, the freezer-to-toaster breakfast dish is expanding to a new grocery store aisle to capitalize on its popularity. Eggo has an eggnog-inspired liquor.

Eggo Nog Appalachian Sippin' Cream, a new rum-based liqueur made by Sugarlands Distilling Co., a Gatlinburg craft distillery, with cinnamon and nutmeg flavors like an Eggo Waffle.

Light, velvety Eggo Nog can be sipped on the rocks, unlike thick-drinking eggnog. It's fun in holiday cocktails and as a coffee creamer after dinner.

Eggo Marketing Director Joe Beauprez says the breakfast brand created this alcoholic holiday drink to relieve customers "L'Eggo" Christmas

stress. In a news statement, Beauprez said Eggo Nog was devised "to give parents a delicious way to indulge in some well-deserved 'evening me time.'"

Eggo Nog will be sold at select stores countrywide throughout the holidays. If you're eager to try the nostalgic drink, use this store locator.
