3 Ways of Making 'Yummy' Maggi Tastemaker At Home

If you love eating Maggi, then consider making the tastemaker at home. Its a much healthier option.

Did you know that the ingredients that go into making masala aren’t healthy? It’s high in sodium and it contains MSG which can leave an adverse impact on your body.

We have found three different ways of preparing this flavoursome powder and here’s how you can do it.

Go the natural way:  This recipe for making the Maggi masala is a bit unconventional but it’s very healthy. Use whole spices instead of powdered versions of it

You will need to grind 2 tsp coriander seeds, cumin seeds and kasoori methi. To this, add 6 cloves, 1 ½ tsp red chilli powder, 3 tsp garlic powder and ½ tsp nutmeg powder.

The 15 ingredient method:  If you want a flavour that closely resembles the tastemaker packet, then this 15 ingredient recipe is for you.

All you need to do is include onion, ginger, garlic, coriander powders, add sugar, chilli flakes and other ingredients and give it a whirl in the blender.

French bullion: Tastemakers are termed bullion in cooking. It's a hardened cube with tastemaker flavors.

Add coconut fat or oil to a pot, chop onions or mushrooms, fill it with potatoes, pour in water, and cook with salt, pepper, and herbs. For non-vegetarian bullion, add chicken fat. Freeze the boiling mixture and use it when firm.
