McDonald's Has a Major New Sandwich In the Works

McDonald's, like Burger King, seems to have determined that its latest and finest chicken sandwiches aren't enough to fulfill the public's fried chicken cravings.

The Chicken Big Mac replaces the beef in the Big Mac with two tempura chicken patties, special sauce,

American cheese, pickles, shredded lettuce, and a sesame bun. Beef fans can still order a Big Mac retro-style.

The Washington Post reports that the Golden Arches is testing this new chicken sandwich in the UK and will introduce

it to the U.S. in late August. The initial test will only be in Miami, Fla., but if it goes well, it might be nationwide soon.

"While not everything we test makes it on our U.S. menus, we'll use this time to gather feedback from both customers and restaurant crew as

we consider opportunities to offer more delicious options in the future," the firm stated in an email to The Washington News.
