McDonald's Latest Happy Meal Stunt Is a Letdown for Fans

An entire generation of Americans begged their parents for a Happy Meal at McDonald's. Now, the Golden Arches offered an adult Happy

Meal. The chain's latest Cactus Plant Flea Market Box bet big on nostalgia, but customers and workers agree that Happy Meals shouldn't grow up.

Last week, the chain released a limited-time Happy Meal box with Cactus Plant Flea Market, an apparel brand famous by Kanye West. It

includes a Big Mac or 10-piece chicken nuggets, medium fries, and a medium drink. The collection includes four

adult-oriented plastic toys of the chain's old-school mascots Grimace, the Hamburglar, Birdie, and Cactus Buddy.

It starts with the box, which has been completely rebuilt in Cactus Plant Flea Market's style and McD's Golden Arches. McDonald's said in a

press release that the box will be available in-restaurant, drive-thru, delivery, and on the McDonald's App starting Oct. 3, while supplies last.

Thus, grownups can eat and play like they did in the past. Early reviews criticized the notion, despite its appeal.

"This dinner is not nostalgic for adults. This odd, artistic promotion appeals to teens "Reddit user wrote about the promotion.
