Announced For a Popular Infant Item Sold At Walmart

A popular Walmart-only children's activity center was recalled due to fall and injury hazards.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled approximately 115,000 Cosco Jump, Spin & Play Activity Centers on October 26, 2023,

owing to straps that could detach or break, endangering children. The manufacturer, Columbus, Indiana-based Dorel Juvenile Group, has

received 141 reports of straps detaching or snapping, including 38 minor injuries to children, including head bumps, bruising, and scrapes.

The recall applies to Cosco Jump, Spin & Play Activity Centers WA105FZW and WA105GML. The pink and blue activity centers, which

cost about $70, have a circular hoop base and three poles from which three straps suspend a child seat with a play tray. Two removable toys

are on the play tray at the front of the seat and two are on the front poles. A sign on the underside of the activity centers lists the model

information and allows three height adjustments. Company says Model WA105HCM Cosco Jump, Spin & Play Activity Center is not recalled.

The recall applies to Chinese-made products sold exclusively at Walmart and Walmart.com in the U.S. from November 2020 to October

2023. Consumers should cease using the goods and contact Dorel for a replacement. Consumers must cut the activity center straps and submit Dorel a photo
